The TLR-series from KOA is now also with a power rating of 3 Watt available – on size 2512. The metal plate shunt (series designation TLR3AP) is offered with a resistance range of 0,5 to 10 mOhm. The dimensions in mm are 6,35 x 3,18 x 0,6 (LxWxH), which means a really low height. The resistor, which is well established in metal layer technology, can be loaded up to 3.0 Watt. The temperature range is up to +155˚C terminal temperature, the derating starts at 105°C. The stated temperature coefficient is ±50 ppm/K (optional 75 ppm/K) and the resistance tolerance is ±1%. The series is tested according AEC-Q200 requirements.
The TLR series of KOA is available from size 0402 to 2512 and allows a rated power from 0.2 to 3 Watt. Resistance values from 1 mOhm and above are standard, the best available T.C.R. is ±50 ppm/K. The sizes 0805 to 2512 fulfill the AEC-Q200 requirements. Also a Jumper version – TLRZ – in sizes 0603 and 0805 is available.
